Blue Like Jazz

I’m reading Blue Like Jazz: Nonreligious Thoughts on Christian Spirituality by Don Miller at the moment. Absolutely amazing. I don’t agree while everything he says from a theological perspective, but his brutal openness and honesty is refreshing. I think this is a book everyone should read. I hope to write some more thoughts on it after I finish — I’m about 2/3 through at the moment. This quote really struck me this morning: “The most difficult lie I ever contended with is this: Life is a story about me.”
